RedStone
RedStone is an oracle company, founded by a Polish team and operating from Switzerland, that carries the daily net asset value of most Securitize funds, BlackRock's BUIDL among them, onto public blockchains. It started as a price-feed provider for DeFi and has since built products aimed at a harder problem: how a lending market can accept a tokenized fund as collateral when the fund itself only redeems slowly.

What it does
An oracle is a service that takes a fact from outside the blockchain, such as a price or a fund's value, and makes it readable by a smart contract. RedStone's independent nodes fetch data, sign it, and publish it as small signed "data packages". A contract that uses the data checks the signatures before trusting the number.
RedStone delivers those packages in two ways and treats both as first-class. The push model has a relayer write the value into an on-chain contract (PriceFeedsAdapter) whenever a time limit, called the heartbeat, runs out or the price moves more than a set percentage. Relayers are permissionless, because the contract validates the signatures anyway. The pull model stores nothing in advance: the user's own transaction carries the signed package in its calldata, and the consuming contract verifies it at that moment against a minimum number of unique signers the integrator chooses.
The documentation groups the product line in three stages. Market data covers Push and Pull feeds, Bolt (a low-latency push oracle first built for MegaETH), RedStone Live (off-chain streaming for perpetual exchanges) and Proof of Reserve. Capital efficiency covers Atom, a sealed-bid auction that captures the value created just before a liquidation, and Settle. Risk intelligence is Credora, a ratings business RedStone bought in September 2025 and now runs on Morpho and Spark.
TSSO (Trusted Single Source Oracle) is the central piece for tokenized funds: a standard RedStone and Securitize announced on 1 July 2025 for assets with no continuous market price. The fund administrator or transfer agent strikes the NAV. Each update then carries the asset ID, price, timestamp, sequence number and the hash and signature of the previous record, so a gap or a rewrite is visible. A root key held in cold storage signs initial values and large changes; a second key signs routine updates inside a deviation limit.
Securitize named RedStone its primary oracle partner on 12 March 2025. By August 2026 RedStone published daily NAV feeds for BUIDL, ACRED, HLSCOPE, VBILL, STAC, BRSRV and HINC, most as push feeds with a 24-hour heartbeat. Outside Securitize, it prices Ondo's USDY and Franklin Templeton's BENJI on Stellar, went live on Canton with custom NAV feeds in March 2026, and became the official oracle of Kraken's Ink network in May 2026.
RedStone Settle
Settle, launched on 28 April 2026, targets a timing mismatch. A lending protocol liquidates bad loans in seconds, while a tokenized credit fund may take weeks to pay out a redemption. RedStone's product page puts that range at 30 to 180 days.
The mechanism has three parts. An auctioneer watches positions; when one crosses its liquidation threshold, it asks registered solvers for bids, in an auction that lasts from 300 milliseconds to minutes. Each solver is KYC-verified and whitelisted per token. An executor contract then does the price update, solver payment, loan repayment and collateral release in one transaction, and reverts everything if any step fails. The solver keeps the fund tokens, waits for the normal redemption, and earns the discount.
The first live asset was Midas mGLOBAL, through Symbiotic's liquidity. On 1 September 2026 RedStone announced the same route for the NYLIM high-yield bond fund tokenized by Centrifuge, with a Morpho vault "set to launch soon". RedStone has not disclosed any settlement volume.
How it is different
Against Chainlink, RedStone's case is modularity: one signed-data format served by push or pull, deployed quickly on new chains. RedStone claims "110+ chains" and says it is "the only provider to offer both models cross-chain"; both are company claims. Its bigger distinction in RWA is focus. It holds the NAV role for the largest tokenization platform and has built settlement and ratings around that role, while Chainlink sells a broader institutional stack.
Against Pyth, the difference is sourcing. Pyth aggregates prices submitted by trading firms. RedStone's fund feeds deliberately use one authoritative source, the administrator, and make that single source verifiable.
RedStone publishes no price list. Its pricing page returned 404 in September 2026.
Where it fits
RedStone sits in the data layer of the tokenized-fund stack. Getting prices on-chain explains push, pull and NAV feeds in full. RWAs in DeFi shows why a collateral price and a liquidation route matter together. Anatomy of a tokenized fund and Who's who in RWA place the oracle next to the issuer, transfer agent and custodian. Related profiles: BlackRock, Securitize, Chainlink.
Risks and open questions
Customer concentration cuts both ways. Securitize is RedStone's flagship client, and since March 2026 Chronicle also verifies BUIDL and STAC holdings through its Proof of Asset product. Securitize now has two oracle suppliers on the same funds.
A single-source NAV is only as good as the administrator. TSSO proves who signed a number and in what order; it does not check the valuation. Daily publication also says nothing about liquidity: ACRED strikes a daily NAV but redeems quarterly.
Headline scale is contested. RedStone's own posts have claimed from "6B+" to "over 10 billion" secured during 2026, well above DefiLlama's reading, which uses a different method.
Oracles get blamed at the edges. After the Tectonic exploit on Cronos on 30 August 2026, which used a RedStone feed for the TONIC token, RedStone said the oracle correctly reported a thin pool's price and that judging whether a price is safe to lend against is the protocol's job. No independent post-mortem had settled that dispute by late September.
What to watch next
- Settle volume and the launch of the HYB Morpho vault: the first public numbers will show whether instant exits for slow funds have buyers.
- Whether Securitize, listed on the NYSE since 2 July 2026, keeps a single primary oracle or splits NAV work between RedStone and Chronicle.
- New issuers adopting TSSO outside Securitize, which would make it an industry standard rather than one client's format.
- Atom V2 and OEV revenue, since RedStone has not yet shown audited figures for its auction business.
- The Canton privacy standard (CAPS) RedStone proposed in April 2026 for private fund data on a public network.
